Oooh. Zinged by Tyneside's self-proclaimed literary genius, who ends his sentences in prepositions, mind you a Geordi who can string even a badly formed sentence is probably still a "genius" by Northern standards.

I'll tell you who the good Americans are... they are the ones who get up every day and without makking a stink about it go about their business as teachers, nurses, sanitation people, firemen, cops (for the most part) social workers, military grunts, and physical laborers, all of whom are grossly underpaid, and without whom we would not survive.
Candidly, I am not impressed by blow hards on the right or the left who make millions of dollars a year to pontificate about their "points of view" whether they be Bill ORielly or Barbra Streisand.

Tomasso did forget, however, that good Americans also consist of the tramps and homeless people who get up early every day because, well, because shops open early, I guess, and they have to be out of the doorway so as to let the shoppers in.

I don't think I agree so much with your "Good"... but you forgot the Ugly: Originally posted by dontomasso: I'll tell you who the good Americans are... they are the ones who get up every day and without makking a stink about it go about their business as teachers, nurses, sanitation people, firemen, cops (for the most part) social workers, military grunts, and physical laborers, all of whom are grossly underpaid, and without whom we would not survive. Because putting your constitutional freedom of speech to use is... un-American?
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Billie Joe is like the coolest person ever, all you squares who don't understand him should stop oppressing him with your negativity, picking on his makeup is so trivial and oppresive. He is a national treasure and one of the few musical artisic exports Americans can be very proud of.

I agree Green Day is one of the better bands of the past ten years, especially with "Dookie" and "American Idiot," but one of the few America can be proud of? I disagree.
