Unbelievable. It's been on Fox News for a while... Armed suspects of about 30 home burglaries ended up in a car chase (still going on) -- cops stopped him 2-3 times and he still got away! At one point, one passenger jumped out of the car and got apprehended. I thought it was all over when the driver got out and tried to hijack another car (that sped away), and he was surrounded getting back to his own car. Somehow he still escaped! Shots were repordedly fired, but apparently no one got hit. Guy is a "third striker" meaning he'll be going to prison possibly for life! Now they've stopped again... will they finally get these guys?? Why's this only seem to happen in LA?
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

They finally just gave up and were apprehended.
My question is - WTF makes these idiots thing they could actually get away?? I guess if you're looking at life in prison you'll try anything, but still...!
But at least in the end no one was hurt.

I live here and I don't care... how does this affect people thousands of miles away? The only necessary thing I can think of is just a mention of it on the radio, so if you're in your car, you stay away from it, or at least you know why there's more traffic than usual. But on TV, passing it off as "breaking news"? But this was much longer than usual, now that I'm reading about it. They ended up driving from Lancaster (an hour north of L.A.), through Riverside county, and into San Diego county. That's one LONG trip. How weird, it took CHP that long to stop them? That's pathetic.

I totally missed this one.We were due though, it's been a while. I wonder if this guy was the one that stole Gregory Peck's footprints from the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. No kidding, I just heard, someone chisled it out of the cement. Zia, what part of L.A. was this? Oops I see you already mentioned. Riverside County????? Probably passed my area. TIS

Hey there Mig!!! Well to answer your question....it's the weather. Just can't beat it. Besides, with all these chases and all the weirdos, there's never a dull moment. :p Why just today while driving home from the store I saw two old bums fighting over a grocery cart (was that you SC? ). They actually had their fists up and dancing around like they were gonna take blows at each other. Neither looked especially healthy. I wouldn't have put my money on either. Finally one took the cart and went on his way. TIS

Remember the bank robery about 7 or 8 years ago when the robbers wore body armor and had loads of high power weapons and ammunition and wounded and killed a number of people. Just walking down the street blowing cars away and shooting at everything. You could see shots hitting them and not stoping them. One finaly killed himself and the other was shot by the police and died. Crazy.

This kind of reminds me of a few years ago where some crazy dude robbed a bank or something and hi-jacked a small mail truck and held the mailman hostage in the truck. This happened in Miami and lasted a good bit. It was on the CNN channel. It reminded me of some Grand Theft Auto. It was worth watching.
You know, we always called each other good fellas. Like you said to, uh, somebody, :You're gonna like this guy. He's all right. He's a good fella. He's one of us.: You understand? We were good fellas.
