John Belushi had a beard and long hair at one point.

Some pics on this page

But then again, I guess you were going for the Bluto look.

Hey, how's it going?

So true, DC! I was at a Family Day mass and meal at one of my dad's organizations he belongs to, and there were all of these cute little kids there dressed up in costumes. My two year old cousin was playing with these two older boys who were in superhero costumes. One of the boys just looked up at me, pointed to the fake muscles that were on his arms (like a sleeve with "muscles" beneath, that he was wearing), and he told me, "These muscles aren't real." It was so adorable, as if he felt he had to give some kind of a disclaimer for having such huge muscles!

At my college, it seems like Halloween is just an excuse for chicks to dress up like the sluts they THINK they are... And I love every minute of it

Lol but in all seriouseness, Halloween stopped being fun when I got too old to trick or treat. Now for me, its just a stressfull night that usually keeps me from going out. I truly cant stand it anymore.

Well I'm disappointed. I've only had about maybe a dozen kids come to the door. Usually I get many more trick or treaters? I too like to see the cute little costumes.

Here is only about 8:30, so I expect the "older" kids who don't dress up but want candy will be coming later. That's ok though, I got candy coming out of my ears. :p

Andrew,

Yeah. I was Bluto. I'd seen some of these pics before. This one most accurately describes how I did look.(And will look like again when the hair grows back)

This one is how I looked at the party.

Like I said, let me see if I can find some pictures from the Halloween party.

Shrewd devil, you know very well that God pardons singers no matter what they do, because he can simply die for a song.

Yeah. I figured I should take advantage of looking like the coolest frat member in history. At the party all the Frat guys wanted me to join their frats because I was drinking Wild Turkey like in the picture.

The little boys dressed up as superheroes really thinking that they are Spider-man or The Hulk. And the pretty little girls dressed up as Snow White or as a princess, walking like they really are royalty! But the best is when one of these little ones are dressed up as a monster or a witch, and when they walk up to you and you make like you're really afraid. They get such a kick out of thinking that they are scaring an adult.

Children are priceless.

As a first grade teacher I would have to whole-heartedly agree with everything you just posted. Kind of on a related side note to that statement and this thread, at my school (and many others throughout the country, I would imagine) we aren't allowed to have a Halloween party. We still have one, of course, but we have to call it a Fall Festival. The reason being, Halloween could be construed by some as a religious holiday. The kids still dress up and we do everything else I remember doing at our Halloween parties in elementary school. Trust me, no matter what name us worthless adults came up with for a children's party, the kids will have the same amount of fun regardless. They are truly the only intelligent life still wandering this aimless rock.

My oldest daughter swore she was getting too old for this and wouldn't go out. Then some of her friends called, and she went anyway.

I like Halloween because it's fun. There are plenty of adults who have a good time. I heard that there's a place in NJ that has one of the largest Halloween parades in the country!! Personally, I haven't attended, but is anyone here familiar with it???
