Not to get off-topic, but I don't understand WHY it would be such a big deal to stop people from smoking in the privacy of their rooms. Restaurants, I could see. Even bars, I sort of could see. But if it's a smoking room on a smoking floor, then what's the big deal? If you object to smoking, then stay in a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor. Anyway, next year's get-together should be fun, if only as a scavenger-hunt type of thing, looking for a city that allows smoking, if nothing else.

Well, you won't have to worry about smoking. However, helicopters outside the hotel rooms... That's another story! Signor V.

I don't think you can smoke in AC hotel rooms, just the casino floor. We were actually thinking about Vegas next year, but I gotta see about my finances first!

Quarters? What's that?? :p Well, A/C is good for me. I would suggest The Tropicana. It was recently renovated, and the indoor area called The Market is lined with lovely shops and restaurants. The rooms are very nice. We got a suite last time we were there, and it was a very nice size with a jacuzzi tub that looked like it could fit about 12 people. They had a terrific package, too, that included drinks and cash back and breakfast. The casino's nice, and for our non-gamblers, there's a whole section with penny slots. When we were getting ready to go home, we stopped in there. We ended up playing for about 2 hours with about $6.

If you have time, I recommend a restaurant called Randazzo's around 35th or 36th Street near the giant wooden playground.

Since DC seems to have trouble getting his pictures posted, any chance of seeing yours??? SB, I'm gonna try! I've been very busy today talking to my realtor/loan person and I think (and hope) I finally sold my house. I hope to bring the film in tomorrow, but keep in mind I am NOT an expert at these things. I'm gonna try to get the film made digital (or whatever it's called :p ). Then I'll try to post the pics. TIS

DMC, That's all I have to tell them is to put it on a cd??? Well, I think I can handle that. Then what????? Can I get one roll of prints and one cd??I wish I had a digital camera, although, it'd probably take me 10 weeks to download the pictures. :p TIS
