Even though I'm planning on getting to Philly early, ya just never know what can come up between now and the time that I plan on leaving. So I don't want to hold anyone up by saying that I'll be there at a specific time. Me, I'm planning on saving all of my 'staggering' for the evening at the bar! I'm really looking forward to seeing you guys. Mr. Babe's a bit cranky about getting up early Saturday morning, but he's happy about seeing all of you. Mig, glad to hear that you and Becky can make it. I was getting worried for a minute. Have fun tomorrow, but not TOO much fun, okay?? Save the TOO much fun for Saturday!!

How fun, you guys... after more than a year of this thread, the time has come! I thought it was next weekend. Have a ton of fun (I know you will), be safe, eat good food, and take lots of pictures!! None of this "JG brought his camera but forgot to take pictures" crap. Have a safe flight, those of you who are flying. Good luck with the airport security lines. Again, have fun!

I'm playing it by ear this morning. I've been so behind and the way things are looking I'll miss the bus I was gonna take, and with me having to catch a connecting flight in Delaware I woulldn't get there until around 5:00. I might have to cancel. EDIT: I can't make it. But I'll be there in spirit. Darn, and I was so looking forward to going to Taco Bell. Have a great time guys.

We went to Pat's for their famous Cheesesteaks. I must be honest and say that while the Cheasesteaks were good, they were really not that great. I've had cheesesteaks just as good, if not better, right in NYC. So the bottom line is that I wouldn't go out of my way again to get over to Pat's. I was a little dissapointed. But of course, the company here is what makes it all worth while. A great time so far with my fellow gangsterbb friends! Don Cardi

It's been very nice here in Philly. And even though I so much missed some friends who couldn't make it this year I am so happy I got to meet so many for the first time. They are all so fun (and nice) to be with. We went to the Moshulu's for drinks last evening, and it was actually very nice. The ship is huge (to me anyway) and open not to mention crowded. We took pictures of the group standing in front of it, and hopefully someone will post it. We had one of the most fabulous meal I have ever eaten at the wonderful Italian restaurant we went to. I lost count of the courses, but trust me, there were a lot. I swear we were eating for 4 hours straight. We talked to the fantastic waiter who told us that not too long ago he met Al Pacino, who dined there. He said Pacino was with about 8 other guys and said he's also met Joe Pesci, along with many others. This guy does a great Tony Montana and really was rather entertaining. We all loved him. We ended the evening in a "brewery" around the corner, which really had two of my favorite things going for it; TV screens surrounding the area with nothing but sports. But the good news is the volume was turned off; then again the bad news is, the volume was turned off so we could all enjoy the wonderful rap music that the DJ was playing. SB introduced me to this quarter game which I totally sucked at, but everyone found quite entertaining, as we played it the entire time we were in the bar. Mr. Babe it seems, is somewhat of an expert in this field. I'm off to NYC this afternoon and am very much looking forward to my few days there. Damn!!! I love vacations. I wish I could party, travel and eat as good every day. Then again, I'd probably be fat & broke if I did this all the time. Great trip! TIS

Well unfortunately another great GangsterBB weekend comes to an end. It was a great time. Whenever we get together the time just seems to whiz on by. Last night we went to Penn's Landing. We stopped at the Moshulu for some drinks. The ship looks like it did when it was used in GFII. After that we walked on down to La Veranda for dinner. What a fantastic dinner we had! They set us up in our own room and put us at a table for twenty. At times we thought that we were having the big sitdown meeting in The Godfather. The food was just outstanding. I think that they served us everything that was on the menu. The food just did not stop coming! And each time that the waiter brought something else out, it was better than the last course. Speaking about the waiter, he was just superb. The first sign to us that this guy was the right guy to serve our party is when he stated talking like Tony Montana and quoted Scarface word for word. Between his Tony Montana impressions and his service, the guy was outstanding. It was really such a treat to hang out with everyone who attended and especially wonderful to see our lovely TIS again!!!!!!! Let me also take this opportunity to thank Becky for getting us the rooms, and a very special thanks goes out to Mama Mig for doing such an outstanding job in putting this whole thing together! "Who Put this thing together, Mama Mig, that's who!" Thanks Mama! For those who could not make it, we missed you all and hopefully we'll see you at the next one! Don Cardi
