Well, how tall is Edie Falco?? Beth, I've met you twice now and never realized that you were 5'2". I must've towered over you, since I'm just shy of 5'7", which makes me about 5'10" in heels. I must've towered over you. Why didn't I realize that??

Probably because I was wearing the high heels that SC's so fond of. I'll be in tennis shoes during most of the day so you'll get to see what kind of shrimp I am.

If I can't be the shortest maybe I'll be the one with the biggest ass.

Sorry, after all the food he ate on the cruise, we may have to give that award to DC!! Just kidding, just kidding!!

I think I'm still carrying the extra weight I gained on a cruise I was on 4 years ago. I used to blame it on "baby" weight. But Nicole is 21, so unless I ate her I can't use that as an excuse anymore.

I thought "baby weight" referred to all the food you eat after having children - The post-partum depression chocolate, the plates of food you finish, the cupcakes you eat that you're SUPPOSED to be sending to school the next day, the gallons of ice cream you eat when they're teenagers, and you're waiting for them to come home at night...that weight.

So, who else is arriving on Saturday? And what time? Is there some point, since we're a few weeks away, that we should make a designated meeting place/time??? What time are our dinner reservations?? Are we meeting for drinks first? Is that on the Mosholu?? Sorry, I know I'm getting a bit anal here, but I'm a gal who likes a plan.

SB, you're arriving Saturday??? Check with Mig, but I thought dinner reservations were at 7:00 or 7:30.

I don't want to put anyone on the spot or make anyone feel obligated, but.....I do like to plan things, and was wondering if anyone from the NYC area will be going by or around the Times Square area when we leave Philly??? If so, can I ride with someone back to my hotel????

Don't want to inconvenience anyone and I checked and there are buses/shuttles that go from Philly to NYC. I'd just like to make arrangements ahead of time, if I need a ride from Philly to NYC. Again, don't feel on the spot. I simply want to plan ahead that's all.

CUT TO: Building lobby. Don Cardi walking, stepping out a cigarette.

CUT TO: Independence Hall. Don Cardi's car is parked. Mig motions to the chauffeur to move the car. Don Cardi and SC descend the steps as Mig writes a ticket. Mig shoots Don Cardi's friend SC, twice, and his chauffeur once, as Don Cardi turns to run. Mig drops to one knee and carefully fires at Cardi, who topples after two shots. Mig gets picked up by Consigliere's lady.

Mig, I'm with you re: making plans for the 19th. I love to make plans. I'm just not sure what the plans should be. Should we do some sightseeing? Or do we just want to hang out together, at the bar or the pool?? I just really want to see you guys, but you and TIS are coming pretty far, so you may want to do some sightseeing.

The only sights I'm really interested in seeing are my friends.

If you are interested in seeing some history in Philadelphia in addition to the usual Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, I think many of you would enjoy the Constitution Center. It is a pretty amazing exhibit with a beautiful film.
It will certainly reinforce your patriotism and pride in America.

If that doesn't work, there are some pretty good strip joints too.

Some day, and that day will come, I would be very pleased to meet the good people of this Board. In fact, I even thought about showing up for a drink and to say hi, but on the 19th my family and I have had plans to be in Pittsburgh to see the Steelers play a pre-season game.

Pittsburgh is about a 5 hour drive along the Pa. turnpike from Philly. I actually live near the turnpike and am about 2 hours from Philly.
I enjoy reading about the fun you're going to have. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourselves and be silly in Philly.
