Apple, My mother made the appetizer pie, Pizza Rustica, with prosciutto and sopresata, etc. She was chopping for hours. Then she put it in the oven last night, and took a peek at it after it was baking a little while. She decided that it needed 5 more minutes, sat down to watch a little TV, and fell asleep for 20 minutes. She woke up just before it burned; however, it is a lovely golden brown. After all those hours of preparation, I think I would have a severe breakdown if I burned it in the baking process.
