My inlaws thought I was out of my mind wanting to drive a long distance to meet people I just talked to on the internet. And I admit I was a little leary about it but as soon as I met you guys all that went away. I think I am more excited about the '06 convention than I was about the one in August cuz this time I will get to meet more people. And of course Bec will be coming with me and I love to show off my baby girl. Smitty, Please stick around this time cuz I would like to talk to you and not just say "hi & "bye" like I did before.

Mmmmm!!! Just throw in a baked potato and a salad and I'm there. Although 3 lbs??? Even I couldn't eat three pounds of steak. At least I don't think so. :p TIS

I didn't even know Philly had a second airport (I just looked it up) I don't know anything about Northeast Philadelphia Airport... Philly International is the big one in the area I presume. Or, you can fly into Atlantic City and get some gambling in first...

TIS TIS, Philadelphia International Airport is only 8 Miles from the Wyndham Hotel. It's about a $20.00 cab ride. The other Airport that you are talking about is NorthEast Phialdelphia Airport which is about 20 miles from the Wyndham Hotel and about a $40.00 cab ride. Atlantic City Airport is about 45 miles from the Wyndham Hotel, about a $100.00 cab ride, and who knows how much it may cost you to play the Slots if you make a detour to the casino first. Philadelphia International seems to be the most logical Airport to fly into. Don Cardi

I assumed the International was the bigger/better one, but wasn't sure. I'm just wondering too how much airfare will raise between now and then with the gas prices they way they are. AC would be fun too, but then I'd have to make arrangements to get to Philly from there. Too complicated for me. TIS Btw, I guess I got busted at work. I used to be able to post and view the BB.....not anymore . Nobody said anything to me, but I can't even view the message board. I can get to the site, and as far as the Corleone Compound gate, but they won't let me in. Damn!!!! I surely am not going to ask why they blocked it. So I won't be able to post, (unless it's during lunch hour when I'm home) during the day. Ain't life a bitch???

Lori and I aren't much into wine so we'll usually go to either Ben Benson's or Ruth's Chris if we're in that neighborhood (Lori doesn't really like Ben Benson's - I suspect its because its too "designed for men"). Does anyone remember Downey's Steak House on 8th Avenue? That used to be AWESOME!

SB, if you and Doc Hagen are ever in the Tampa FLorida area, you MUST make it your business to go to Bern's Steakhouse. They have an outstnding wine selection which comes right out of their huge wine cellar that houses almost 7000 different types of wine.! The place is broken up into different dining rooms. They take you on a tour of the whole restaurant from the wine cellar to the top floor dessert rooms. The food is very good. When you are finished with dinner, they escort you upstairs to a private dessert room for dessert and after dinner drinks. It's a dining experience. And if you are into wines, as I know you and Doc Hagen are, then the experience is that much better. Oh, the only requirement is that if you do go there, you MUST invite Don Tomasso! Right Don T? http://www.bernssteakhouse.com/bs_winesspirits.htm Don Cardi
