Pi and Requiem were nothing alike. Complete contrast.
As DV mentioned, Pi was about a mathematician on the brink of sanity trying to equate a mystery equation.
Requiem takes place over the course of three seasons, and shows the negative side of drug addiction on four people living in Brooklyn. The way the drug scenes were shot were really cool. You can see one in my avatar.
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted.
