I'll be frank. Wilder is one of the five greatest directors ever. His repetior is unbeatable.

He wrote Ninotchka, the dicted some of my favorites: The Lost Weekend, Sunset Blvd., Sabrina, Stalag 17, Some Like it Hot, The Apartment, etc. He single handedly re-created the Romantic Comedy with "Sabrina" adding wit, great direction and acting and making it entertaining. I think it's amoung his best, and a personal favorite. Then again my little cousin was named "Sabrina" because of this film.
