In Ukraine, a 28-year-old Dutchman from Nieuwland has died. The man's death has been confirmed by both a family member and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the family, the man died in early June, but it is unclear how exactly this happened.

The Dutchman is said to have traveled to the country at the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and given military training to civilians, a pro-Russian war blogger reports on his Telegram channel. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs cannot confirm this, and it is also unclear whether the man has military experience.
