Some of his language echoes positions frequently taken by ultranationalist groups in Israel.

Some in this movement, including far-right ministers in the Israeli governing coalition, have argued for the expulsion of Palestinians from the occupied West Bank and Gaza, saying any future Palestinian state could exist in Arab or Muslim countries.

If such a policy was enacted, rights groups and European governments say it would be a clear violation of international law.
