US Vice President JD Vance, during an interview on the Theo Von podcast, recognized the situation of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip throughout the war. "I'm a human being, so I look at this stuff and see the videos, and it's very heartbreaking," he said.
"I've seen people on my side of the political aisle see these videos of innocent Palestinians and say, 'Well, they had it coming.' No, no, no. If you have a soul, your heart should break when you see a kid suffering," Vance said.
He also said that he does not think that Israel is carrying out a genocide, because he doesn't think that "Israelis are trying to go in and murder every Palestinian. They got hit hard and they're trying to destroy this terror organization. War is hell," he added.
