ABC Australia May 30, 2025 Israel announces major expansion of West Bank settlements despite sanctions threat
Israel says 1. it will establish 22 new settlements in the occupied West Bank, 2. including the legalisation of "outposts" already built without government authorisation.
The announcement comes after Britain, France and Canada warned Israel this month it could impose targeted sanctions if Israel continued to expand settlements in the territory.
Israel's Defense Minister Katz, says

Haaretz May 30, 2025 Approximately 30 right-wing protesters from the Tzav 9 group blocked humanitarian aid trucks at Avshalom Junction, on the road leading to the Kerem Shalom border crossing, in an effort to prevent the aid from entering the Gaza Strip.
