Smotrich: 'I will not let a partial cease-fire be signed with Hamas; we must tighten the noose around its neck'

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said on Thursday that he will not allow a partial cease-fire with Hamas to be signed.

Smotrich wrote on X referring to the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's limited allocation of aid, which began on Tuesday:
1. "Hamas is under pressure and in a great crisis these last few days as a result of the reform in the aid distribution,"
2. "We must tighten the noose around its neck and force it to sign a deal of total surrender, returning all of the hostages at once.

True It would be utterly foolish to release all the pressure now and sign a partial deal that will give it breathing room and an opportunity to recuperate.
I will not let that happen. Period."
