'Italian family controlled cocaine line to Belgium'
According to Europol, an Italian family in Belgium produced large quantities of cocaine in underground labs. In April, police forces from Belgium, Germany, Italy and Switzerland arrested fourteen people.

Zoulou
It concerns Operation Zoulou, which focused on information obtained from the 2021 police hack of encryption service Sky ECC.

Eleven people were arrested in Belgium, two in Germany and one in Italy, during eleven searches. 780 kilos of cocaine were seized.

Seaports
According to Europol, the criminal organization was led by an Italian family with close contacts with suppliers in Colombia and chemists in Belgium. They imported cocaine paste via European seaports and stored it in Belgian warehouses, where they processed it into ready-to-use cocaine in clandestine laboratories.

In the laboratories, the semi-finished cocaine paste was converted into the snortable cocaine powder. Often, this cocaine paste is processed in other products such as clothing or shampoo.

The group is also suspected of involvement in heroin trafficking and money laundering.
