Not so fast my man. ABBA and Robbie Williams were both given real shots here. Radio tried, major labels tried, even MTV got involved. Same story with Oasis and Blur. The push was there, but the reception was lukewarm. What people tend to forget is that there's a cultural disconnect. Americans and Europeans simply want different things. We see it with music, the NFL, baseball, etc. etc.
