Netanyahu and Trump speak regarding Washington D.C. shooting, President's plan for Gaza.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with US President Donald Trump on Thursday, following the shooting attack that killed two Israeli embassy workers in Washington D.C.

The White House says President Trump is saddened and outraged by the killing of two Israeli embassy staff in Washington D.C.

"The American president expressed his deep condolences at the horrific murder in Washington," the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement Saturday.

“These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW!” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social early Thursday morning. “Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA,” he continued. “Condolences to the families of the victims. So sad that such things as this can happen! God Bless You ALL!”

"The two also discussed the war in Gaza, and President Trump expressed support in the objectives set by Prime Minister Netanyahu:
1. to release all of our hostages,
2. bring down Hamas
3. and promote the Trump plan [for Gaza]."
