Trump ‘frustrated’ with Gaza war, wants Israel to ‘wrap it up’

Administration officials cited, saying US president pushed Netanyahu to reopen aid crossings after he was ‘upset’ by images of suffering children in Gaza.

US President Donald Trump is “frustrated” by the ongoing war in Gaza, feels it is the last issue preventing prosperity in the Middle East and wants the Israeli government to “wrap it up,” according to a Tuesday report citing White House officials.

a White House official said, according to the report: “The president is frustrated about what is happening in Gaza. He wants:
1. the war to end,
2. the hostages to come home,
3. aid to go in
4. and to start rebuilding Gaza,”

“The president sees a real chance for peace and prosperity in the region, but the war in Gaza is the last hot spot and he wants it to end,” the official added.
