Houthi health ministry says at least 21 wounded by Israeli strike targeting cement plant

Six strikes targeted Yemen's Hodeida port, the Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV reported on Monday, blaming the strikes on Israel and the United States, a day after the Iran-aligned group launched a missile that struck near Ben-Gurion Airport.

The IDF confirmed reports earlier on Monday that it had attacked the Houthi-controlled Hodeida port in western Yemen to destroy a "central supply source" and terror infrastructure. The army's statement said that the Hodeida port "is used for the transfer of Iranian weapons," along with other military equipment.

The army added that it attacked a cement factory east of the city, which is "which functions as a significant economic resource for the Houthis.
Moreover, it is used for the construction of underground tunnels and terrorist infrastructure for the terrorist regime."
