There are 44 projects under construction , of which 26 are directly financed through the Pnrr. Among the most important projects are the Brescia-Verona-Padova, the Naples-Bari (the first and most advanced project in Southern Italy) and the Salerno-Reggio Calabria.
The Italian railway system is, therefore, at the center of one of the most important phases of relaunch, through costly investments implemented by the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane group. As Avvenire writes this morning, it is about 100 billion euros distributed over five years: of these, 62% is destined to the strengthening of infrastructure, the beating heart of national mobility.
