As a black man growing up in America in the early 1900s the odds were stacked against him. But he didn’t care. He pushed his chips all in. By the 1950s he was one of the biggest crime bosses in Chicago. And also a man the Mafia was looking to kill. But Roe stood strong and simply stared right back.
