What murder weapon do you choose and how would you carry it out?

Take one cigarette...make it half empty and place a medical needle (which is hollow) in it, previously dipped/filled in some poison that can resist heat (probably potassium cyanide), and then fill the top of the cigarette with the rest of the tobacco, just enough so the top of the needle can be at least few centimetres out. When you locate your target in some club or party, light the cig (DONT INHALE) and quickly go next to him or her and make it look like accidental cigarette burn because of the packed location. Say "sorry" and walk away (you might get hit but "sorry" is enough, including the act as a scared individual). After that, theres at least 80% chances that the target will start feeling dizzy and if he/she dies, at the autopsy they wont be able to find the puncture wound but instead, they'll see a simple cigarette burn and chances are they might think that the victim was poisoned via drinks, meaning you're off the hook.

At least this is how some of the government agencies used to or still "work" in the same or similar style .

Lol +1 back in the days I posted one convo which included Gyp DeCarlo, Boiardo and some victim...and in it the two mobsters told the victim to take the double shot of heroin which they prepared for him, so he can die from an overdose and to place him behind the wheel of a car so the whole situation would look like a fatal car accident, instead of being shot several times in the head, and thats how he would allegedly avoid any family embarrassment, again according to the same two mobsters lol

I don't really think people do hits by themselves that much, maybe intelligence agencies, but in organized crime/gang hits there's at least one other guy to drive. And there are obviously a lot of variables to consider when deciding how to do it.

For my money, assuming you pinned down where the victim is going to be(tracker on his car or something), the best way would be to shoot with a rifle from inside a (mini)van. The Provisional IRA started doing this in the early 90s and it's the same thing the infamous DC sniper did. If you shoot from 50-150 meters you don't even need to be that good a shooter or any kind of marksman, anyone with a little practice can make a shot like that.

This way there's no way a witness can see you, no way the target or a bodyguard can shoot back, and way less chance of being caught on a surveillance camera. If you use a silencer for the rifle and you rig some sort of small gun port in the van that you can open and close, I'd say there's no chance someone will be able to tell where the shot came from.

I'm pretty sure whoever killed Chit Del Balso in Canada did something like this. It's way better than just walking up to a guy or a drive by.

Thats also another way of handling things as a hitman, same as the Rizzuto hit that was carried out with a sniper. BUT the difference is that the whole process will enter as a murder case, and even though chances are low in catching the hitman, still the murder case will remain open and the search will go on forever. On the other hand, with fatal "accidents", you leave space for doubt but in the end most cases are closed while few remain open because of the doubt and lack of evidences regarding the development of a murder case.
