If it was from Al D'Arco's book, he was speaking about an old Sicilian-born mafioso named Salvatore "Don Turiddo" Curiale, whom I believe was around 90+/- at the time. D'Arco was introduced to him after he'd become capo over the "Canarsie" crew that Curiale was still technically a part of.
