It's been said that Carmine Galante had issues with the Gambino's when he released from prison in the late 1970's. Even allegedly whacking 8 Gambino guys... (Has not been proven)

Anyways; I've just found out that Carmine Galante had problems with the Cherry Hill Gambino's; and was causing alot of trouble for them... Galante and the Cherry Hill Gambino's were into ''Drugs''. and Galante saw them as a potential rival.

Is is possible this is why the Gambino's wanted Galante whacked because he was using a heavy-hand on the Cherry Hill Gambino's.

It makes sense... because after the Galante hit.... Several member of the Gambino's were at the Ravenite which was ran by Neil Dellacroce in the late 70's.

This is something I've never heard until today about Galante causing trouble to the Cherry Hill Gambino's.
