Talking about the greats, does Lucky and that generation have any present members in the Mob. We have Sonny and Michael, Carlo Gambino and son, Joe Colombo and Jr.
It always intrigued me that Tommy Gambino born in 1929 could have met the founders as a child.
Captbony, this is a great question (and one that probably would do well to have its own thread.)
Off the top of my head, Joe Adonis' son, NJ Genovese Family soldier, Joe Doto Jr., immediately comes to mind.
After all, Giuseppe (Joe Adonis) Doto Sr., was definitely one of the "greats" as you mentioned. But to be honest with you, I really don't know if he's still alive or not.
But I'm sure if we really think long and hard about, we can probably come up with a few more who are still alive and kicking.
