Another excellent addition, Lou. Yes, Tameleo got fucked around pretty good. So did his codefendants. Wasn't Peter Limone also sent away on that same case and served a ton of time before getting paroled?

Limone,Lou Greco,and Joe Salvati were all convicted in 1968. Greco, Salvati and Tameleo got the death penalty but their sentences were commuted in 1972 as part of the Furman V. Georgia decision.
Tameleo and Greco died in prison i,1985 and1995 respectively. Salvati was paroled in 1997.
Between 2001 and 2007,all charges for these guys were dismissed.


Yeah, I remember that case. That was a real railroad job. (far from the first, far from the last that'll ever happen.) The difference with this case is that it came out in the wash...way to late to save them from a hellish life behind bars. But it eventually got exposed.
