Kind of off topic; but would Joe Magliocco be the longest serving underboss in LCN history (New York)?

He served as underboss from 1928/1931 to 1962.

That's over 30 years as the underboss of a powerful NYC family.

And then got bumped to "Boss" in 1962.

He's had been at at the #2 spot for over 30 years and boss for 1 year or so.

That's longevity.. and no one can stake his claim....

But Tommy Lucchese served as underboss for Tom Gagliano for 20+ years (depends when Gagliano died).. and then Tommy Lucchese was boss for atlast 15 years before he died of cancer.

Tommy Lucchese had a 35+year reign (give or take) as #1 and #2 of the Gagliano/Lucchese family.. That's unheard of...

Both Joe Magliocco and Tommy Lucchese were at top of their respective family in the #1 or #2 spot for over 30 year's. No one else can say that.
