First of all any movie does that, no one wants to look at ugly people all through a movie. Second, Tony Soprano and Silvio were ugly and uglier, so were other in the cast, with a few good lookers thrown in, Henry Hill was a rat, he had the best looking actor play him, In The Goddfather, you had Abe Vigoda, Clemenza, and Fredo----not a good looking one in that group. Michael Corleone (Pacino) and Sonny "James Can) were more the exception than the rule. Al Littieri? God help us! As for Vario, while Pau Sorvino looked better, he wasn't in the movie much, the rest of that cast was average looking seen at best.
