Organized crime has provided us with lots of colorful nicknames. Mobsters have been nicknamed for their looks, such as Big Nose Jimmy, Fat Frankie, Skinny Tommy and Cockeyed Joey. Some guys were named for their criminal propensity or legitimate vocation such as Tommy the Blade, Nick the Baker, and so on...A popular nickname were variations of the name “Little.”

So here’s the challenge…The six hoodlums listed below each had this nickname. Four of them were from the Colombo Family, one was with the Gambino Family, and the other was with the Bonanno Family.

Like Malavita so eloquently said, “You know the drill.”

Your job is to identify each man by listing his REAL “first and last name” and matching the (letter) of his nickname with the corresponding (number) of the Family he affiliated with. For instance, you could say C-2, and his real name was Frank Russo.

Have at it fellas. Let’s see how well you know mobsters and their nicknames.

A) Little Sal
B) Little Ralphie
C) Little Vic
D) Little Mario
E) Little Dom
F) Little Joey

1) Colombo Family
2) Colombo Family
3) Colombo Family
4) Colombo Family
5) Gambino Family
6) Bonanno Family

Yes. technically "Little guys" in size, but, in reality, oh so dangerous.

Malavita did very well with this. He nailed 3 of the 6 guys in question; Orena, Cataldo and Brancato. Here are the other three in question, and a recap for all six;

A) Little Sal was Salvatore Giglio (Bonanno)
B) Little Ralphie was Ralph Scopo (Colombo)
C) Little Vic was Vittorio Orena (Colombo)
D) Little Mario was Mario Antonicelli (Gambino)
E) Little Dom was Dominick Cataldo (Colombo)
F) Little Joey was Joseph Brancato (Colombo)

You did a great job, you hit three home runs!

...In fact, you were the only one who even had a clue or took a shot. So kudos to you!
