Yeah, it’s tough. It’s also a somewhat different membership dynamic than the mafia. Members retire, opt out in good standing, and get kicked out in bad standing. Some members stay in for 40+ years without a single arrest, while other spend the majority of their years imprisoned. The leadership, specifically, the Mother Club with the Pagans, is always changing. See Gorilla Mondevergibe in Philly. He’s been club president, in jail, out bad, only to come back full circle under Conan.

The Philly chapter President,Tim Flood,attempted to boot him,and tried to get Steve to turn in his colors. He basically told Flood to go f*ck himself,and went to the Clubhouse,shot Flood in the knee,and stabbed him in the back. Flood actually turned rat and testified against Gorilla. Gorilla is a legend in the Club,and no pissant like "Casual" is going to take his cut.
