The first, but you have to understand the Ndrangheta clans are formed through intermarriages with each of other. Which means they are related with each other though one or more marriages. It's the title appointments that may sometimes make one more powerful than the other.
I understand. The intermarriages help form power, retain and expand power, stop in-fighting and wars, etc. Very useful (when used properly.)
