I wonder if Joe stayed in charge of his family, if he could have stayed out of prison? He would have been under the watchful eye of the Feds in NYC and it’s doubtful he would’ve gotten past the Commission trial or some of the other big cases of the 80s and 90s.
That makes me wonder if Bonanno and the Chin were both in charge in 1985, if Gotti would have gotten taken out for the Castellano hit? Chin tried but they would have been more powerful together. Or if Gotti and Sammy would have even done that hit.
