Iran helped Hamas weeks in advance planning Saturday's attacks on Israel, reports the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal based on high-placed sources within Hamas, among others.
Iran is considered one of Israel's biggest enemies. It was already known that the country supported Hamas' attacks. But it has not yet been explicitly said that it was involved in the planning of the attack.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Tehran gave the green light for the attack on Israel during a meeting in Beirut on Monday
