Cocaine is bad for you, but alcohol is just as bad.

In June, the city council of Bern, Switzerland, agreed to start a pilot to legalize the sale of cocaine for personal use. The city currently has a repressive drug policy, which banishes drug trafficking and use to the underworld. This makes control and preventive measures difficult. Although Bern is open to legal cocaine trafficking, it is not certain that the Swiss city will actually be allowed to start the pilot. The Swiss government has not yet given permission. Bern has been allowed to start the legal sale of cannabis since this year.
