Its impossible to get rid of organized crime, in China you have death sentence for drugs , they straight up kill you ,no trial at all and you still have people involved in organized crime. You can only weaken organized crime by legalizing drugs.
I believe you are correct. The only truly effective way to eradicate organized crime is to legalize everything, this way there is no "crime" left to "organize."
