Attempted murder in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville: the victim is a relative of the Hells The investigation is progressing slowly due to the man's difficult collaboration Alexandre Ovalle, 40, was the victim of an attempted murder on June 6, 2023 in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. FACEBOOK Alexandre Ovalle is well known in police circles, he who has an impressive criminal record. He was notably arrested in 2011 as part of Operation Carcan, which targeted drug traffickers on the South Shore. The Carignan resident had been convicted of gangsterism, conspiracy and drug trafficking, and had been sentenced to 30 months behind bars. Shortly after his release from prison, Ovalle became involved by association in a story that made headlines around the world. His girlfriend at the time, Isabelle Lagacé, was arrested in the summer of 2016 in Australia after a luxury cruise with her friend Mélina Roberge. No less than 30 kg of cocaine were discovered in the suitcases of the young women. https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2...ille--la-victime-est-un-proche-des-hells

Feared as far as the United States The Quebec Hells are reputed to be "extremely violent" according to an influential former American member of the club How are the Hells of Quebec perceived by the American Hells? I have been interested in them since the 1970s. I became friends with Boss [Yves Buteau, first president of the Montreal chapter] during his visit to Ventura. He was murdered like many of my friends. I also knew Walter [Stadnick, Montreal chapters and Nomads], who came from the same city as my first wife [in Ontario]. And what I can tell you is that both the Hells Angels here in California and those elsewhere in the United States know well that we must take the Canadian Hells Angels very seriously. They are not afraid of anything. How would you describe them? They are known to be incredibly violent and very determined. While they were waging war on the Rock Machine, it was out of the question for us, on the American side, to dictate anything to the Hells of Quebec. This war killed 160 people. It's still incredible. Did you even fear that this war will cross the border? In the late 1990s, Canadian Rock Machines wanted to become Bandidos. If the Bandidos, with whom we were not at war here, absorbed a band that was at war with us in Canada, the conflict could have degenerated and spread to the United States. So one day, for three hours, I met the Hells of Canada and my friend George Wegers, who was president of the Bandidos. We discussed in a park in Washington State, on the Canada-U.S. border, in search of a solution. I think Walter [Stadnick, then president of the Canadian Hells] was there. It was agreed with George that the Bandidos would not accept Rock Machines in their ranks. In the end, some Rock Machines still became Bandidos. It didn't please the Canadians. The Hells no longer have competition from any group of bikers in Quebec. Are you surprised? If so, no, not at all. At home, the Hells seem to me an example of cohesion, discipline and determination. If they were at the head of a traditional company, no matter what sector they would have in their sights, they would end up gaining full control of that sector. https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2017/03/18/craints-jusquaux-etats-unis

Here is an article from a gang member from Montreal-North. He’s talking about the push made by the BMF from Montreal against the HAs. I remember those time, you could see the tension in Montreal downtown bars and clubs. General and his friends are looking at Saint-Denis Street, an important artery in Montreal, to expand their territory. "We knew that the street belonged to bikers. We went there at 20 to attract their attention, to show that we were there. We were selling our drugs. Until the boss of the neighborhood sees us. So, we confronted him. And usually, there are not many people to oppose him." The group uses a cameo to call its supplier and wait for his arrival. They tied him down and called his boss in front of the hostage. "If the boss did not want to give up his territory, we conveyed our message by beating his pusher." General has no emotion, when he tells this part of his life. For him, it's business as usual. "We were typing everyone. We didn't care if they had patches. We were a gang, too. We typed two or three of their guys. They said ok, but don't touch Saint-Laurent Street. You would abuse. They are warriors, the bikers, "he says with respect. General and his group, in addition to their expansionist aims, must protect what they control. What they did to bikers, on St-Denis, others imitate them to steal what they own. https://raymondviger.wordpress.com/2011/11/30/guerre-gang-de-rue-bloods-crips-montreal-nord/

https://www.lapresse.ca/actualites/...01-31658-sursis-pour-un-chef-de-gang.phpArticle in 2008 about the leader of the montreal’s BMF. A conflict is currently between the Bloods and the Hells Angels for the control of drug sales in downtown Montreal, he added. Valdano was involved in this war, according to the police officer. The Hells praised this territory to the Syndicates gang and gangs affiliated with the Crips, the enemy gang of the Bloods. "Now, the Bloods, the reds, are trying to take the territory, which does not particularly please bikers," added the police officer.
