Do you guys know from where LaPietra's nickname "The Hook" really originated from?

It comes from the situation in which LaPietra was able to "hook" many victims on juice since he was one of the biggest loan sharks under Buccieri and Torello. The most gruesome murder in which LaPietra was allegedly involved in was the one on a Latin operator during the days when the Outfit was taking over the bolita racket or during the late 1950's, and there were no "hooks" involved in the hit. LaPietra's bosses Buccieri and Torello together with Mad Sam were the ones who placed Action Jackson on a hook which went through his anal hole, while torturing him in many different ways.
