For the record, the Holiday Inn Itasca (Chicago) was one of the best places I've ever stayed in -- they were extremely accommodating to us (e.g., they opened the bar early for us; Doubletree closed the bar early for us. ). The end of the survey asked where we had stayed last to rate that, too, and I rated the Holiday Inn in Itasca much higher. They could learn something from them! :p

If you remember, the first day that I got there we were sitting in the lobby ( yeah, they had us waitng in a lobby!)and when we asked, they opened the bar early for us that afternoon! Then when we all wanted to go to Shula's that night for dinner, they provided a van for us, on the house! And they kept the bar opened for us both nights, well beyond the posted closing time. They definitely were better at customer relations. Double tree had no customer relations. They just yessed you to death. Don Cardi

Yea, they were pretty cool with us (and patient).
TIS And the rest is history! After that everytime one of us wnet up to him and ordered drinks, as soon as one of us said "and a blue martini," he immedeatly would respond with " oh no, not again, I know who that one is for!" But both you and geodff are right, they were really nice to us and practically went out of their way to accomodate us. So is Geoff hinting to us that he wants to go back to Itasca in 2006? Don Cardi

Mig, I think that's great about your Dad!! Very cute. Hey, where are my pictures? I've been checking my email, but nothing yet. Glad to hear that you returned home safely. How many miles have you put on your car in the past month alone??

Just driving from Ohio to VA to pick up Becky then to Jersey then to Ohio then back to VA then back home to Wva I put close to 2k miles on good ole bessie. I'll have to take her in to get her oil changed this week. I'll probably do the same thing all over again for next years BB weekend

Hey guys.....
Would it be too much trouble for anyone to change our date to Wednesday, 9/28?
If it is, please say so. I can make it on the 21st, but for various reasons which I didn't realize, the 28th works a lot better for me.
