ARGH!

I may be going to that video conference at the Meadowlands Sheraton again that week (9/22-24), either Thu-Sat or Fri-Sat. Too bad that place down the road is closed, and that Fri night is bad. I suppose that Wed 9/21 is good.

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

After all, we cannot have a "commission meeting" without our Don Malta.

Nah, I said Wed the 21st was good -- it just would've been a bit more convenient on that Fri since I'd already be up there... but no problem... I may not even go to that conference, so don't want to plan around it just yet.

He had a wonderful time indeed. He couldn't believe what a great group this was. But I don't think I'll get him to join the board. He's not much of a joiner.

Then if you're ever at a venue where Rocky Mountain Oysters are being served, for god's sake DON'T ask what they are!!!!
(hint...they sure ain't oysters).

FWIW - I won't eat tounge, either. Nor tripe, which was apparently considered a delicacy when my mother & her siblings were being raised on it.

OOOH! I want one!! I'm still waiting for my cheesecake!!

Tell you the truth, I would go back there in a heartbeat. The hotel itself was fine. I would just suggest that we find someplace else nearby for dinner, but the breakfast was good, the room was clean and I like the idea of only having to stumble to the elevator after drinks.

I just filled out the survey and mentioned all the things I could think of. I was fair, though, and didn't just trash them. But I wanted them to know what happened for the record. I actually enjoyed the weekend there because of the people, not the hotel. I would probably try a different place if we were to stay in that area again.
