Dutch arrests in investigation into mega-catch of ketamine

The detective raided three homes in Steenbergen on Tuesday morning in connection with the discovery of a huge stock of ketamine. Eight suspects have already been arrested. In February, a secret storage of 1700 kilograms of ketamine was discovered in a farm near Steenbergen.

Cash and various documents were seized during Tuesday's searches. In February, the police seized several million euros in cash.

Enormous
The amount of ketamine seized in February is enormous. The police estimate its value at just under 40 million euros.

Ketamine is an anesthetic that is used as a party drug.

The police are still actively looking for four fugitive suspects who may be staying abroad.
