I wasn't able to find an existing thread about the various organized-crime groups and figures--past and present--in a number of cities and towns outside of the Greater Toronto Area. I have in mind places and regions like Hamilton, Burlington and other places in Halton Region, the Niagara Region, and the wider Greater Golden Horsehoe, which encompasses many but not all of the former. Please feel free to post here about non-Italian OC groups too if there isn't already a thread about them. Link below is to an interview with former Hamilton Police Service officer Paul Manning. https://sputniknews.com/analysis/201803221062765446-paul-manning-police-corruption/There is a good photo -- see below -- that Manning provided to the news outlet, as he owns the copyright. I believe that Natale Luppino is on the far left, John Luppino on the far right, and Jimmy Luppino, wearing sunglasses, to the left of John Luppino. I can't identify the man in the approximate centre of the photo -- I may very well ask Manning on Twitter by tweeting at him.

Paul Manning's tweet from earlier this morning: https://twitter.com/mobinfiltrator/status/1106898733873037314Paul Manning @mobinfiltrator Everyone with interest always asks if I can prove a connection between Traditional Organized Crime in #Ontario & #Buffalo. Here it is. You’ll notice I removed the name of the @NYGov Governor who the @Fbi alleged has ties to the #Mafia. @MobBuffalo @Charlie_Reports 8:43 AM - 16 Mar 2019

Somebody talked about that guy Gallo he def is a player in Hamilton. Who talked about this guy? What have they been saying about him? 🀠instead of Pino Avignone? https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/20...bster-pat-musitanos-close-associate.htmlIMO and from conversations I’ve had, there is no way that Avignon set up Fat Pat, didn’t Pino get shot that day, with the bodyguard? Where was Gallo? Surviving a mob war, and having the Don targeted twice on insider knowledge, would imply more than meets the eye. How tight were Gallo and Giorgio Baressi, both seem to be tied to the Musitanos? What about his relationships with the Luppinos, Violis and Iavarones?

The Iavarones and Gallo might know each other through some cops 👮â€â™€ï¸? JP Belisle from Montreal and Peel region, as well as Ryan Guav, he’s from Hamilton, works in Peel. Also, the last named Macovi, he’s either a cop 👮â€â™‚ï¸ or one of their support.
He’s married to some slit named Anita Calabrese, got a brother named Mike, anyways, they may have been pulling the strings in Tomasetti, I haven’t meet this Abdalla or been to Hamilton for a while, but this stuff is coming from people in and around that guy.
Seems like he has a real problem with the murders that happened to Musitano, Sergi and the girl with Serrano? I guess he’s not a killer!
Not that any of this my concern, just curious if any of this could be valid or just more hearsay. Even cops 👮â€â™€ï¸ thinks they can get rich quick in narcotics lol

“My father was a criminal. Here’s how I found out.” https://www.macleans.ca/longforms/my-father-was-a-criminal-how-i-found-out/Excerpt: After taking a closer look and wondering what my dad did with all the money, he witnessed the members of Hamilton mafia families, the Luppinos and Musitanos, showing up at the store. At the time, the police were trying to get to the bottom of the so-called “bakery bombings,” a series of attacks on Italian bakeries by the Musitano family. The bombings instilled fear in the community, helping the Musitanos extort protection money from small business owners like my father. The Samsung investigation at my dad’s store offered the cops an opportunity. It became a springboard to examine the Luppino and Musitano crime families, and Hamilton city council approved its first-ever organized crime Joint Task Force, with Robertson as administrator. With evidence from this Joint Task Force case, Tony Musitano, the boss of the family, was convicted of conspiracy to possess explosive substances with intent to cause explosions. Pat, Tony’s nephew, took over the family in 1992. Their era of dominance ended in July of 2020, when he was gunned down at midday at a Burlington strip mall.

I’m not sure if that was a responses to my question.
Google has it at 3 the couple of stories I read I through 1 more in for good measure.
The reason I said what I said is that in the history of LCN, you HS some guys that actually killed 20, 30 or more etc.
Some guys were response for 60+ this is according to the FBI, and informants and we’ll known industry experts considered in the “KNOW”
So when I hear a guy killed 3 and is labeled one of the most notorious murders in Canada’s history that seems WAY OFF.
Maybe notorious for who he killed and so much how many he killed. Even thy seems a little “OFF” for lack of a better way to verbalize this description because recently almost all high ranking C.N. guys have been killed, nobody is off limits and anybody can be “TOUCHED” in Canada, even in Jail.

Going back in time. He was a teen when cops branded him ‘the devil.’ Decades later, he was baptized to a standing ovation. Leon Robert Blais was a notorious child criminal. Today, he’s entrusted with the keys to a downtown church. Has he redeemed himself? https://www.thespec.com/news/hamilt...2f5716f-d861-5b70-a102-b87fc73a0ee2.htmlExcerpt: [Leon Robert] Blais didn’t know much about his biological grandfather, George Joseph Hasler, who died before he was born. It was only as an adult that he came to understand that he was essentially a hitman for the Mob. After one of Blais’ many arrests, he happened to find himself on the same Barton jail range as the now dead Hamilton mobster Pat Musitano. Hamilton’s criminal underworld can be a small community, especially behind bars, and Blais knew everybody. When he got to the range Musitano approached and handed Blais a book. They shook hands. “I didn’t know your grandfather was George Hassler?” Musitano said, handing over a copy of “The Enforcer” by Adrian Humphreys, about the life and death of crime boss Johnny “Pops” Papalia. On Page 77, the book talks of Papalia expanding his organization. This included moving “the much-feared Joe Hasler” to “designated enforcer.” It was through this book and later conversations that Blais learned who his grandfather was. His mom later told him stories about her dad, who spent much of her life in prison.
