Mother of 6-year-old Richneck shooter charged; prosecutors look to further investigate security issues
NEWPORT NEWS — A Newport News grand jury on Monday indicted the mother of the 6-year-old boy who shot his first grade teacher at Richneck Elementary School three months ago.
Deja Nicole Taylor, 25, of Newport News — whose son shot 25-year-old teacher Abby Zwerner during class Jan. 6 — was charged with felony child neglect and a misdemeanor count of recklessly leaving a firearm so as to endanger a child.
Newport News prosecutors also asked a Circuit Court judge to impanel a special grand jury to “continue the investigation into any security issues that may have contributed to this shooting.” This could include looking at Richneck administrators, the school system and others.
Such a probe could take months — and could lead to more indictments.
“Their investigation will continue as long as necessary to determine whether others are criminally responsible for the shooting of January 6,” the Newport News commonwealth’s attorney’s office wrote in a news release Monday afternoon.
Project Plowshare was the overall United States program for the development of techniques to use nuclear explosives for peaceful construction purposes. The program was organized in June 1957 as part of the worldwide Atoms for Peace efforts. As part of the program, 35 nuclear warheads were detonated in 27 separate tests. A similar program was carried out in the Soviet Union under the name Nuclear Explosions for the National Economy.
Successful demonstrations of non-combat uses for nuclear explosives include rock blasting, stimulation of tight gas, chemical element manufacture, unlocking some of the mysteries of the R-process of stellar nucleosynthesis and probing the composition of the Earth's deep crust, creating reflection seismology vibroseis data which has helped geologists and follow-on mining company prospecting.
William Powell Lear (June 26, 1902 – May 14, 1978) was an American inventor and businessman. He is best known for founding Learjet, a manufacturer of business jets. He also invented the battery eliminator for the B battery, and developed the car radio and the 8-track cartridge, an audio tape system.[1] Throughout his career of 46 years, Lear received over 140 patents.[2]
Bill Lear worked with his friend Elmer Wavering to build the first car radio.[4] Lear partnered with Howard Gates of Zenith; Lear designed the circuit and layout, Gates did the metal work, and Lear completed the assembly. Galvin initially dismissed the prototype, but later ordered a 200-unit production run. Galvin and Lear mulled over names for the product on a cross-country trip and came up with "Motorola", which was a portmanteau of "motor" and the then popular suffix "-ola" used with audio equipment of the time (for example "Victrola"). The product was such a success that Galvin changed the name of his entire company to Motorola.[1][3]:?23,?24?
It is an alternative website where I provide my novellas about how history could have turned out.
My first novella is entitled Drewberry Farms. It postulates that slavery never ended and the Civil War never took place.
Surf over there and give it a read. Let me know what you think.
Here's an idea for alternative history:
The USA nukes and kills Stalin and Mao before the Soviets have the capability to Nuke America. No Cold War. No rise of the Military Industrial Complex.

They really don't want him to run again. Guess no one's gonna charge Brandon for the same offense when he was VP, right?

The indictment has been unsealed. They appear to have a lot on him. They even seem to have a recording proving that he got one of his attorneys to lie about the movement of classified documents. Yeah I'm not sure how he'll get out of this one, but there may be a way for him. He's currently facing 37 federal counts

At least the GOP has different candidates to choose that's democracy, the Democrats have a senior citizen and a whack Kennedy offspring lol.
My prediction is the Demorats will push Joe aside in the end (conveniently citing health reasons at that point, not now of course) and Newsom will be the nominee.

He has a lead over Ron but if this does hurt Don, I have no problem casting my vote for Ron. Which ever one of them wins the primary is getting my vote.

Bill O'Reilly and a lot of conservatives are saying he did it and should plead this down. Very strong words. I can't see him going to prison, but I can see DeSantis becoming the next president

Is it really though? We have a former president facing countless charges and now we have the current president's son pleading out to a federal charge. At this point, this is normal
