It seems that the original post that was made with the information for the Gangster BB weekend has disappeared into cyberspace. Several of you have since inquired about it. So here is the info :

When : Weekend of August 5th 2005.

Where : DoubleTree Somerset Hotel in Somerset New Jersey - http://www.doubletreesomerset.com/?cid=ovr

It is probably about a 15 minute drive from Newark Airport and is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike.

Check out the website to decide what type of package you may want to book for yourself. There are several available.

You can book your rooms now at no cost. They will be held for you and you have up until 48 hours before check in to cancel it at no charge.

Several Members have posted ( in the original post ) that they have already booked their rooms.

Theres a Harolds Deli in Lyndhurst NJ also. That deli is a great place to eat. You guys want to go to that one instead? Anyway the Gangster Bb weekend is coming up soon. I cant wait till it gets here.

I woke up this morning with nothing to do and went to bed with only half of it done.

Oh New York pizza? Hmmm... Do I want sausage or pepperoni with my grease?? :p

Actually, NY style pizza is great.

As for the weekend, I'm still working on it. It would be great seeing everybody again and also some new faces. Maybe I'll be treated to another duet by LDV and JG!

I assume you're talking about the one on Bleecker Street. Its good, but there are others around that are better. Ya gotta go to Brooklyn's "Totonno" in Coney Island for the best brick oven pizza.

Miggie -

If there was only someway to reheat some pizza (NOT a microwave) I'd bring ya some from this place in Brooklyn ("Spumoni Gardens"). You'd never be able to eat regular pizza again (after eating this).

What day/night are you arriving?

A pizza stone does a good job reheating pizza - at least to crisp it up after a short nuking. But hey, I love cold pizza anyway...

Any bread products (like a pizza crust) are not meant (IMO) to be nuked.

Anyway, if thats a hint, I'll bring ya some, Geoff.

I'll have to check that out next time I'm in the mood for some pizza.

Well, it looks like I'll be bringing some Spumoni Gardens with me.

Lori and I will also be arriving Friday afternoon. I believe Don Cardi and Mrs. C. will also be coming then as well as Geoff. Dunno yet about anyone else, but we were all thinking about going to this deli (for dinner) that Don C. and Geoff know and recommend.

Miggie, I've eaten with this crew a few times - one piece of advice - bring your appetite. We eat well! Also, don't make a long reach across the table for something - you may lose a finger!!
