'Ndrangheta in Emilia, confiscation of 11 million from Antonio Muto of the Grande Aracri
The Carabinieri of Reggio Emilia have implemented an order for the confiscation of assets 'in executivis' issued by the Court of Appeal of Bologna for a value of over 11 million euros , against Antonio Muto.
The measure follows the irrevocability of Muto's sentence in the 'Aemilia' trial to 8 years and 6 months' imprisonment, among others, for mafia association because he belongs to the 'Ndrangheta gang 'Grande Aracri' of Cutro ( Crotone) which operated in the provinces of Piacenza, Parma, Reggio Emilia and Modena.
The provision, carried out in Reggio Emilia, Parma, Mantua and Crotone, led to the seizure, among other things, of 5 companies in the road haulage and real estate sector, for a turnover for 2017 of around 3.5 million euros, 23 real estate, 92 vehicles and 9 bank accounts.
