The United States in January formally designated Russian private military company the Wagner Group as a transnational criminal organization. PMC Wagner (Wagner Group) is a Russian private military company led by Yevgeniy Prigozhin, a Putin crony and the target of multiple U.S. sanctions.

They make tons of money in Madagascar, Libya, Sudan, Mozambique, the Central African Republic, Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
