So why the change in heart when it comes to Bikers? Why do they conduct business with them now and accept that in todays day and age?

Well it's a movie for one. That was supposed to be 1967. Everyone hated bikers back then. Plenty still do. Generally speaking those guys were pretty old for that period. Made it more fakey to me.

Not all hate the bikers. The mob havent the straight of the old times so must deal with bikers especially the small families.
Scarfo sr must repay the Pagans after a drunken Sal Merlino punched a biker and broke his bike;the Outfit have ties with the Outlaws mc same thing for the Detroit family or the Rizzuto in Montreal.
The bikers dont fear the prison and are more happy to use the violence and have a large and young recruitment pool. Now many that 20-30 would choose the mob now riding a bike.
