I think so. You can sort of tell who has it and who hasn't just by looking at the way they carry themselves. I like how Gigi plays with the camera and says 'oooohhh' kinda like Andrew Dice Clay. You don't see that a lot, but it tells me he's got style and is confident

He is said to have been made recently. He is close to Paul Carparelli. He golfed a couple of times a year with Solly D, and Mickey D. Has connections to Italy, believe to have a few local politicians in his back pocket. Shylock is where his name pops up alot and not small vigs either.

As great as the restaurant is, it attracts a lot of wannabe tough guys due to the reputation it has as a mob owned establishment. I’ve been around real gangsters for the last 10 years of my life ( who let me add never have involved me in the life as I’m younger and they respect I have a legit job and family) and I just find the behavior I see when I go there to be sort of corny. It’s very silly to be quite honest and no I’m not talking about Gigi or anyone he’s connected with. It’s like the average person tries so hard to play make believe mob wife or mobster for the evening. The yuppies from Burr Ridge and so forth. Little do they know with a simple phone call I’d have their legs broken if they pushed the envelope. When I go there I enjoy my meal to myself and snicker while shaking my head and rolling my eyes. One evening a guy bumped into me and gave me a dirty look. I humbly smiled at him and said have a nice evening knowing to myself how much of a dead man he would be if he knew who I associated with and touched me. But there’s no reason be cocky or aggressive so I just patted him on the back and went on my way.

I edited my post to clarify the friends I have in the life do not discuss their business with me. Only reason I know what they do is because of their families history and little details they have shared here and there. They have never discussed Gigi Rovito nor anyone else really, it’s very hush hush. Being around real Mob guys makes you realize how many wannabes there are. Yes it is! I see it all the time. To be quite honest most the time I’ll just get food to go or go early around 4 pm for an early dinner to avoid it. I can only imagine what it’s like on the East coast!! To the point where it makes you want to throw up.
