A Philadelphia mob associate, presumably killed for having an affair with a made guy's wife.

Dutchie and Johnny Gongs were basically killed for the same reason. They pursued and had affairs with women who were married to major players in the Philly mob.

Avicolli had an affair with Mazzone's wife.

Her name was Danielle. She was killed by her boyfriend about a year ago. Pretty crazy

I would think the feds are gunning for Merlino on this one too--even if it was the affront to Mazzone that caused them to kill Avicolli, everyone who has talked about his disappearance (a lot of them unreliable) has said it was Mazzone AND Merlino who killed him and then buried the body.

3) Merlino

#1 and #2 because they killed one of their own and got away with it.
