What are you talking about? I regarded him as mediocre filmmaker before watching Sin City, but certainly not as bad as, say, Michael Bay, for example. Now, I do regard him as one of the worst in Hollywood.

I could argue that me not calling this film a masterpiece, and thus not riding the bandwagon, was open minded as I fairly judged it, gave it a rating it deserved, and back-up my opinion. I still haven't read a review to tell me why this is good other than "'insert adjective' homage to film noir" or "a technical achievement.
